Help for the Minimum Sales Amount (BCA20114) Extension.
Introduction:
The Minimum Sales Amount (BCA20114) Extension checks if an order, invoice or quotation meets a minimum total amount you have set up in the extensions settings. The check is done at the moment of document release. Depending on the settings the program will inform the user with an error message or a conformation request or just simply with a message. In case of an error message or a negative conformation, the release of the document is aborted.
Installation:
To install the Ixzal Minimum Sales Amount (BCA20114) extension in Business Central, select Extension Marketplace in the menu. In the Extension Marketplace (aka AppSource) you search for Ixzal or BCA20114 and click on free trail.

After the installation starts you’ll have to wait for a minute for the installation to complete. You can monitor the installations progress from the deployment status screen. (Menu: Setup & Extensions | Manage | Deployment Status or search for Deployment Status).
On the first installment of Ixzals Minimum Sales Amount (BCA20114), you’ll get automatically a 14 day fully functional free DEMO license. Registration of the DEMO license is not necessary.
Purchasing of a PERPETUAL license can be done on-line. Please read here about licensing.
Setup:
In the setup page (search BCA20114, Setup) you have a section for Orders and Invoices and for Quotes. Each has the following settings:
- Enable Minimum ...: Enable the check.
- Minimum ... Amount: Minimum amount to check against.
- Allow Zero Amount ...: An amount of zero is permitted.
- Invalid ... Action: The type of action to take when amount is lower.
In case of an invalid action "Error" or "Confirm" the release transaction is aborted.

Use:
When a user releases an order, invoice or quotes document the system checks against the set minimum amount. When the check fails the systems shows, depending on the Invalid Action setting, an Error, Confirmation or Message box. In case of a message box, the document is just released as normal, but the user is aware of the fact the document is below the set minimum amount threshold. In case of an Error, the system aborts the transaction and leaves the document in the open state. When a Conformation is shown, the user have a choice to accept and the document will be released.
